Straight Leg Pants
Straight-leg pants are an ideal style for any body type. Straight legs have a uniform width from the thigh to the hem—not too narrow and not too wide. The look is flattering because it creates a straight visual line along the leg.
Our favourite straight leg pants in-store are from the Joseph Ribkoff and Up Pant collections. Both fabulous Canadian labels, the Joseph Ribkoff Straight Pant is ideal for work – our customers love the quality, non crease fabrication that takes you easily from day to night.
For a more casual look, try the Straight Pant from the Up Pant label. Up Pants are known for their ‘ thinspirational’ fit, and are high through the rise with added tummy control and butt lift! Available in many different prints, fabrications and leg lengths – Up Pants have a strong following at Magazine Designer Clothing.
Slim Leg Pants
Slim Leg Pants continue their popularity as they look great on so many people! At Magazine, we tend to stock only a Slim Leg Pant, as opposed to a skinny leg, as they tend to be kinder on most leg lines.
In-store, we reach for the Joseph Ribkoff 144092 Slim Leg Pant. Made from Ribkoff’s signature drapey fabrication, this style finishes just on the ankle meaning they are great for women of all heights. You can choose from plain black, checks or even with a metallic trim down the side (213640) – perfect for your next night out!
Denim Lovers
Magazine also stocks an excellent array of denim. The denim lines we have in-store must pass the test for quality, comfort and most importantly – stretch!
If you are after a more classic jean, you’ll love the offering from French Dressing Jeans. Their Suzanne Jean is a Magazine staple, as our customers can’t get enough of their soft, buttery, two way stretch denim offered in both dark denim and black options.
Or if you’re looking for a little more fashion and fun, Loobies Story is your go-to label! With a variety of cuts ranging from boyfriend to slim to cropped, we love the point of difference they add into their denim – be it raw edge hems, novelty trims and quirky hardware.
Cocoon Shaped Pants
If you’re fuller in the leg and find a traditional pant harder to fit, let us introduce to our cocoon shaped pants. These feature an elasticised waistband for comfort and ease of fit, and are fuller through the leg before tapering in to finish at a 7/8 length. Our best selling cocoon shaped pants are perfect for plus size and come from the Cashews label. Proudly made in New Zealand, Cashews Pouch Pants are offered in a variety of fabrics, from stripes to knit to plain to print. Supremely comfortable to wear, our current favourites are the Galaxy Pouch Pants, made from a soft and cosy stretch knit.
Fun Fashion Pants
If you’re an out of the box dresser, and what to wear what’s next – Magazine also offer several styles with very modern appeal. The Frank Lyman 213468 Bootleg Pant represents the ultimate in on trend appeal, with the stretch twill fabrication so easy and comfortable to wear.
Gaucho Pant styles are taking centre stage on international catwalks, and we have the Carol Pant from Bittermoon in-store showcasing this look. These 7/8 pants have a wide leg and fixed waistband with back zip. We especially love the button detail on the front that completes this piece.
