Our terms and conditions policy does not restrict your personal rights as per the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

• Magazine Designer Clothing does not make any specific guarantees or warranties of any kind for our garments and delivery. The delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed time frames.
• By placing an order with us you are agreeing to all our Terms and Conditions and information on this page.
• Magazine Designer Clothing is based in New Zealand. All orders and transactions are covered by New Zealand law.
• All transactions are billed in New Zealand dollars.
• We reserve the right to change any information on the magazineclothing.co.nz website at any time.
  

While we do our best to ensure all pricing is accurate, errors may occur. If an error is discovered, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price and will issue a full refund.

Christmas Treat Promotion – Terms & Conditions

1. Offer Details

• Spend $250 and save $50.

• Spend $400 and save $100.

• Valid on full-price items only. Valid once per transaction.

• Discount is automatically applied at checkout, both in-store across our 9 main boutiques and online.

2. Exclusions & Restrictions

• Not valid in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, discount, loyalty reward, or voucher.

• Not valid on sale items, gift cards, laybys, or previous purchases.

• We cannot retroactively apply discounts after a purchase has been completed.

3. Opting Out of the Promotion
If you prefer to pay full price and not participate in the promotion, please email us before placing your order. We will arrange manual processing at full price. Once a purchase is processed with the promotional discount, it cannot be altered.

4. Returns & Exchanges

• No refunds are available on items purchased under this promotion.

• Exchanges or store credits are permitted in accordance with our standard returns policy.

• Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached.

5. Online Orders

• Discounts are automatically applied when your cart reaches the qualifying spend threshold.

• If items are returned and your revised total no longer meets the threshold, the discount will be reversed and the difference deducted from your credit or exchange value.

6. Promotion Period

• This offer is available for a limited time only. We reserve the right to extend, modify, or end the promotion at any time.

7. General

• Offer applies per transaction only.

• Cannot be applied to previous purchases or combined across multiple receipts.

MAGAZINE CLOTHING – BLACK FRIDAY SALE TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to Magazine Clothing’s Black Friday promotion, valid from Wednesday November 26th until Monday 1s December at midnight across our nine main boutiques and online.

1. Promotion Period

• Offer begins Wednesday 26th November and ends Monday 1st December, midnight NZDT.

• Discounts are valid only during this period. No exceptions.

2. Discount Structure

A. 20% Off Full-Price Styles

• Applies to all full-price items.

• Eligible for exchange or credit only.

• No refunds.

B. ONE DAY DEALS: Wednesday 26th November = 30% Off All Magazine (House Brand). Thursday 27th November = 30% OFF Selected Dresses. Saturday 29th = 30% OFF Madly Sweetly.

• 26th November - Applies to all Magazine-branded styles. Excludes Helen Cuff Pants.

• Eligible for exchange or credit only.

• No refunds.

C. 35%, 50% & 60% Off Markdowns

• Applies to selected marked items only.

• Strictly no returns, no refunds, no credits, no exchanges.

3. Returns, Exchanges & Credits

• No refunds on any discounted items, regardless of discount tier.

• Exchanges and credits are only available where stated above.

• Additional shipping costs apply to all exchanges.

• Items must be returned in original condition with proof of purchase.

4. Exclusions & Limitations

• Not valid with any other offer, promotion, loyalty reward, birthday voucher, credit, or discount.

• Gift cards cannot be discounted or redeemed for cash.

• Magazine Clothing reserves the right to refuse a return that does not meet policy requirements.

5. Full-Price Option Clause

If you do not wish to participate in the Black Friday promotion and prefer to purchase at full price:

• Please email us before completing your order.

• No retrospective price changes or reversals will be processed once the order is placed.

6. Stock & Order Accuracy

• All offers are subject to stock availability.

• In the event of an inventory error or system issue, Magazine Clothing may cancel an order and provide a full refund for any unavailable item.

7. Online Orders

• Shipping times may be extended during promotional periods.

• Magazine Clothing is not responsible for delays caused by courier networks.

8. Policy Enforcement

• By purchasing during the promotional period, customers agree to these Terms & Conditions.

• Magazine Clothing reserves the right to amend the promotion if necessary due to error or unforeseen circumstances.

$50 OFF Dresses valid Saturday 22nd - Tuesday 25th. Please see terms and conditions below for $30 Off tops as the same terms and conditions apply. 

$30 OFF TOPS 

 - Valid Monday 17th - Tuesday 18th November in-store at our main 9 boutiques and online. $30 OFF all full price tops, excludes Camis and Slips. Items purchased are valid for exchanges or credits, they are only eligible for a refund if faulty. Additional postage for exchanges is required.

Early Black Friday Sale

• Sale Period: The Early Black Friday Sale runs from 29 September in our 9 main boutiques and online.

• Discounts: Selected styles are available at 35–50% off. Discounts apply to marked items only.

• Returns: All sale items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange, except where faulty. Please choose carefully before purchasing.

• Offer Combinations: This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, or discount.

• Pricing Errors: We make every effort to ensure prices are correct. In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to correct the price or withdraw the item from sale.

• Availability: All items are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities.

• General: By participating in this sale, you agree to these terms and conditions.

• Returns & Exchanges

  • Items purchased at 20% off are not eligible for refunds, unless faulty.

  • Eligible for exchange or credit when returned in line with our standard Returns Policy and timeframes.

  • Credits issued for returned items must be used within 6 months of issue for both in-store & online purchases. 
    

  • All returns must meet our usual condition requirements (unworn, tags attached, proof of purchase provided).

• General Conditions

$50 Voucher Terms and Conditions 

$50 vouchers are valid on full price purchases $250 and over, in-store (excluding outlets) and online. Offer applicable to full-priced items only. This cannot be combined with any other promotion.
Items purchased with a $50 voucher are eligible for an exchange or credit. Items will only be refunded if faulty. 

**Sales purchased under our 10%/20%/25% OFF sales or with the use of a $50 Voucher are eligible for credits or exchanges. Not eligible for refunds. Sale excludes Outlet/Sale items. $50 vouchers are for purchases $250 and over. 

$50 vouchers/discounts not valid in conjunction with any other promo. 

Eligibility to Purchase

The purchase of products from magazineclothing.co.nz is limited only to parties who can enter into and form contracts in accordance with New Zealand law. Customers must provide their real name, phone number, e-mail address and other requested information. When providing payment details, customers must warrant that the payment details provided are theirs and are both valid and correct. magazineclothing.co.nz is only available to customers who meet our terms of eligibility. Purchases made are for personal use only and must not be resold or used for commercial benefit. magazineclothing.co.nz reserves the right to decline multiple quantities to one customer or address.

Products 

All sizes are based on standard New Zealand sizing. Some sizing may vary between styles; however we do attempt to ensure they are as consistent as possible. We have made every effort to display the colours of our products as accurately as possible on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.
We take great care to ensure that all details, descriptions and product prices appearing on our website are correct at the time of website entry. We reserve the right to refuse orders where product information has been incorrectly published or altered, including prices and promotions.
Whilst we endeavour to keep our stock levels accurate, however if an item is purchased that is not available at time of dispatch we will refund the purchase immediately. All orders are subject to availability. Items in your shopping basket are not on hold and may be purchased by other customers.

Pricing

All prices are in New Zealand dollars unless specified otherwise.
Payment is via credit card only. Magazine Clothing accepts Visa and MasterCard. All payments are processed through Payment Express.  Payment Expressis an electronic payment service that enables us to safely and securely accept payments.The credit card you are using must be yours. All credit cards are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of the payment method refuses to authorise the payment, Magazine Designer Clothing will not be held responsible for any non-delivery.
Magazine Designer Clothing is PCI compliant and does not store credit card details.
The name ‘Magazine Designer Clothing’ will appear on your cardholder statements when you purchase through our online store.

Sale Purchases

In-Store Sale purchases are final, and not eligible for refund. No returns or exchanges will be accepted unless item is faulty.
In the case of receiving faulty sale items, please return to us and we will endeavour to resolve the situation as soon as possible.

Online Sale Purchases

Online Sale purchases are final, and not eligible for refund or exchange. No returns will be accepted unless item is faulty. 
Any sales using a Discount Code offered via email or Laybuy/Afterpay are not eligible for refund, but we will happily exchange or issue a credit that can be used instore or or online.
Any items purchased from our SALE page for a discount of 50% or more are not eligible for refund/exchange or credit, please choose wisely.  Our stylists are always happy to help you with sizing.

In the case of receiving faulty sale items, please return to us and we will endeavour to resolve the situation as soon as possible.

Gift Cards

• Issued in New Zealand dollars.
• Activated at the time of purchase and will remain open for a period of 1 year months unless specified otherwise.
• Once the gift card has been redeemed whole or partially, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
• If the gift card is for a lesser amount than the desired purchase, the recipient can pay the difference at checkout via our usual payment methods.
• The value of the gift card covers the total amount of your purchase including shipping and taxes.
• The gift card should be treated like cash and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Magazine Designer Clothing will not accept responsibility for lost or stolen gift cards.
• Items bought with a gift card can be exchanged but not refunded. Magazine Designer Clothing reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions.

International Purchases

If you’re a customer whose credit card is not denominated in New Zealand dollars, the final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer processes the transaction.
When converting to another currency, or when an item is charged to a credit card, a price variation of between 2 and 5% may occur due to fluctuating exchange rates and credit card company charges. We take no responsibility for charges incurred at receivers end after sending the parcel as this can vary depending on the rules of customs in each country.
All prices displayed on the Magazine Designer Clothing website are at our discretion. Pricing may change without notice and differ between national and international markets.

Privacy

We firmly believe in your privacy and the security of your personal information. We do not rent, sell or distribute our customer base or newsletter e-mails to anyone. We also do not store your credit card details on our server.
Your details will be kept on a private database for Magazine Designer Clothing use only.

Cancellation Policy

Once an order has been placed you may not cancel the order as goods are often packaged and shipped the same day. Please select carefully before placing an order.

Discount Codes / Promotions

Discount Codes/Sales/Promos (% OFF etc) cannot be used in conjunction with other offers, promotions, store credit and discount codes. They are only valid on Full Price collections and cannot be used on Sale items unless specified. 
Welcome 10% Discount applies to full priced items only.

Magazine Designer Clothing shall not be liable to you or any third parties for any direct, indirect, special, consequential or punitive damages allegedly sustained arising out of your access to or inability to access this website. This includes viruses alleged to have been obtained from the website, your use of or reliance on the website or any of the information or materials available on the website, regardless of the type of claim or the nature of the cause of action.
